Dr. Dawne M. Carroll is a Board Certified physician with over twenty years of experience. She graduated from Eastern Virginia medical School and received her training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. She has successfully completed written boards for certification by the American Boards of Bariatric Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Carroll founded Fit for Life Medical Center Inc. in 1996 and serves as the Medical Director. As a primary care provider, Dr. Carroll focuses on developing therapeutic patient relationships in order to manage her patient’s health optimally.
She focuses on using evidenced based medicine in managing patients chronic health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol. Dr. Carroll emphasizes prevention but also specializes in weight loss/ weight control and obesity concerns which include nutritional management and fitness assessment. Dr. Carroll treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries. She possesses a pleasant and professional bedside manner and easily interacts with her patients; maintains confidentiality and implements preventive medical programs for each individual patients needs.
Ann Parker CRNP is a graduate from the University of Maryland, a State Board approved Nurse Practitioner program with post master certificate in family medicine. Mrs. Parker has advanced training in the diagnosing, treatment and management of various diseases and injuries. Mrs. Parker practices as a licensed registered nurse at Georgetown University Hospital where she was awarded Nurse of the Year in 2011.

Agnes Jennifer Kallon-Momoh studied her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Howard University. Upon her successful completion, she was able to gain employment at one of the most reputable hospital, Georgetown University hospital. Here, she worked for 20 years in different areas in the nursing field. With her love and compassion, she later decided to further her academic career as a Nurse Practitioner at the same University.
Due to her determination, she completed her master’s degree in nursing in the year of 2008 as a family Nurse Practitioner. She immediately gained employment at the Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center for several months. Because of her long-term experience, she was able to attain a job at the Hematology Oncology practice, managing an infusion center as well as side effects of cancer patients; working for the past 6 years, of which she gained knowledge and experience in hematology oncology and primary care.
Though, with all these experiences in hematology oncology as well as primary care, backed up with her hard work, dedication and love for the medical profession, she was still able to gain lots of knowledge working at the “Fit for life medical Center” as a practitioner.
With all these mentioned experiences and passion in her career, she went extra mile to become a preventive healthcare advocate in the community – such as anemia, unwanted pregnancy, breast cancer, hypertension, diabetes, prostate cancer and lung cancer, to name but a few.
Glenda Prudencio received a Certificate of Physician Assistant Studies from Anne Arundel Community College and a Master of Medical Science from St. Francis University. Ms. Prudencio graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
Ms. Prudencio has experience in the medical field, working as an ophthalmic technician for 5 years. Ms. Prudencio is fluent in Spanish and utilizes this ability to help provide medical care to her Spanish speaking patients.
